Joseph Sudheer Thumma (Joe) serves as the Managing Director of Scandron Private Limited, where he leads the company’s commercial strategy, sales and marketing, and operational execution. A seasoned enterprise leader with over 27 years of experience, Joe plays a pivotal role in scaling Scandron’s drone manufacturing and services business across defense, logistics, surveillance, agriculture, and industrial applications.

At Scandron, Joe is a key decision-maker driving go-to-market strategy, customer acquisition, partnerships, and operational efficiency. He works closely with the leadership and engineering teams to align product innovation with real-world mission requirements, ensuring Scandron’s drones are not only technologically advanced, but commercially viable, deployable, and trusted in demanding environments.

Joe brings deep expertise in building and scaling technology-led businesses across global markets. As a founding force behind the Magellanic Cloud ecosystem, he has successfully led organizations through growth, diversification, and public listings, translating strategic vision into sustained execution. This experience directly strengthens Scandron’s positioning as a Make-in-India drone manufacturer with global ambitions.

With prior leadership experience at organizations such as IBM, JP Morgan Chase, and Swiss Re, Joe combines strong operational discipline with market-driven thinking. His ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, ranging from government and defense customers to enterprise and industrial clients, has been instrumental in accelerating Scandron’s adoption and market credibility.
